Ascension of the Lord

The Ascension of the Lord is the definitive end of our Saviour's physical presence on earth but not his departure so as to abandon His flock. He will remain in the Holy Spirit and His sacramental presence in the Blessed Sacrament. In this way He will continue to be in the world until He comes again in His physical presence to bring everything to a completion and an end at the Second Coming.
