Living and life-giving water

The interaction between Our Lord Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well is one of the most beautiful and intriguing events in the gospels. It is marked by the divine charity in the heart of Jesus and the human quest for happiness in a woman who is perhaps scarred by life. This Sunday's gospel is one of those worthy of many reflections.
